Yousaf Abdul Rehman Awan, MD

Dr. Yousef Awan was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington D.C. and completed his internship at Christiana Care Hospital system, followed by diagnostic radiology residency at University of Maryland Medical Center and a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Harvard Medical School/Brigham & Women's Hospital.

His current clinical interests include general body interventional radiology with a special interest in interventional oncology, as well as women's health/uterine fibroid embolization. He also specializes in complex genitourinary and advanced biliary interventions. Dr. Awan has been an author of several peer reviewed publications and has given several verbal and poster presentations at national medical conferences.

Dr. Awan is a member of the Diagnostic Medical Imaging practice, which provides diagnostic and interventional radiology services Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, Maryland.
