Since the doctor was relying on an MRI rather than what he saw in person, the virtual visit was a good solution. While we were late (15 minutes) starting, he gave me plenty of time once we connected. I appreciate his recommendations and candor about what he saw on the MRI and his empathy for the stress that the MRI itself can cause when report has some concerns (particularly when combined with MRI breast in same week)

Dr. Burns showed compassion, concern, and kindness during my visit as he addressed different aspects of my care. He made sure I understood instructions for changes in meds and wound care. He has awesome bedside manners that make me feel comfortable. His personality along with his education make me feel my health is the hands of one of the best surgical oncologist in the world.

Dr. Burns is an excellent doctor as is his assistant. He congratulated me on being cancer free for 10 years after having pancreatic cancer! The surgery was successful 10 years ago and I'm living proof one can survive that horrific cancer! He's a kind man and Hopkins is where people should go when diagnosed with cancer!

Patient instructed to arrive 30 minutes early for her appointment when the doctor was running an hour and a half behind schedule patient was not told of any delays making the whole experience quite miserable.

This was a team visit and all of the providers showed concern for my condition and were patient in explaining current status of my condition and how we will move forward for best outcome.

Dr. Burns is an excellent physician who is pleasant to interact with.

It took a lot of follow-up and effort on my part to get this appointment scheduled. I spoke with my oncologist on 5/22/25, who referred me to Dr. Burns and said he will try to get my appointment in the following week.

Dr. Burns was very thorough explaining my condition to me and was in no hurry to leave. He gave me as much time as I needed

I had a 11:45 appt and saw the doctor at 1:15.

Dr. William Burns, explains to me the treatment options he would like to follow so plain that it took my Headache away. Dr. Burns is a walking genius. I am so happy and I'm lucky to know him and be one of his patients. I thank Father God for Dr. Burns.
