Comes across as someone who really does not care about his patients. When asked the difference between Medicare wellness and Annual exams, he said ""Nobody is forcing you "" to have these exams!

Dr. Wasel AKBARY has been my and spouse's(Orlando) PCP over the years following him when he joined JHFM. He is consistently very hands on with concern about our wellbeing and strict about having our annual medical appointments and requirements done. He has been instrumental In pushing through seeing specialists leading to the finding of my current Amyloidosis condition. I look up to Dr.AKBARY on his medical and professional expertise combined with his excellent patient-Physician relationship.

Dr Akbary is highly intelligent, but clearly, like the doctors I saw in the ER, he does not handled my complex case properly (except for a few doctors in the ER). It seems that doctors follow stupid protocols, and has no ability to bring in their 2 cents.

Dr. Akbary has been an excellent physician who listens attentively and offers great advice and insight to health issues and concerns.

While I understand circumstances requiring providers to wear masks during interaction with patients, those masks detract significantly from the ability of patients to hear or understand what providers are trying to convey. On the occasion of my recent visit, the two assistants who took my vitals wore masks, and I had a very difficult time understanding what they were saying. The same applied to the doctor. I've considered changing doctors precisely for this reason, since I see little reason to see a doctor if I can't communicate with him.

Dr Akbary is an excellent doctor. I have great confidence in him.

Superior service and knowledgeable

So kind, so patient, so knowledgeable. He spent so much time, listening attentively and talking me through my labs at my house in ways that I could understand. I really can't expect more from a doctor than I have received here.

He was Ok but didn't have enough time for me
