Virginia Shalkey Hahn, M.D., is a cardiologist specialized in caring for patients with cardiomyopathy and heart failure.
Dr. Hahn received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2012. She was a Sarnoff Fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and cardiology/advanced heart failure fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she was the Marie-Josée and Henry R Kravis Chief Cardiology Fellow.
Dr. Hahn's research is focused on translational studies in heart failure using bioinformatics tools and functional assays. She has won several awards and grants for her research.
