It took 3 months to see him for the 1st appt. I was impressed that he answered all my questions and expounded on how my condition (completely new to me) might progress. He prescribed tests. Then I was told he would be leaving Hopkins in ~4 months. That was a blow!

I like Dr. Witham's attention to detail, and his willingness to try to help someone who is considered a complex case - it gives that person some hope of feeling better.

He is by far the best surgeon I ever had.

He is the best neuro spine surgeon i've ever met. He's very kind and compassionate and he explains everything, the best way possible.He's very easy to understand and I would recommend him to all my friends and family

I felt that they were very thorough in seeking to get the information they needed to make the right decisions regarding my care.

The surgeon did a great job with my surgery. I'm no longer in pain. I feel good and can now walk, sit and sleep without being in constant pain.

Dr. Witham was by far one of the best physicians I have encountered in a while. I did not feel rushed and he took time to ask me questions and explained my health situation. Dr. Witham & his other Dr's are amazing professionals. Dr. Witham is caring, empathetic, sympathetic and kind. I am devastated that Dr. Witham is leaving JHH but I understand after 20 years, it's time for him to take his expertise to another University Medical Center and teach his brilliant mind and talented hands with others.Dr. & Mrs. Tim Witham will missed very much.

This was my first visit with Dr. Witham. I found him down to earth, friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, and explained things so that I could understand.

Dr Witham is a wonderful neurosurgeon and I fully trusted his decision not to do surgery on my spine and gave me solid reasons why. I respected his decision. He said to continue with the Epidurals and if and when they no longer help with the pain contact him and he'll see what can be done too relieve my pain.

I heard from [staff] his NP, who explained my further need to see an Entraconlogist. She said she would help me find one near Annapolis.

Dr. Timothy Witham is an extraordinary neurosurgeon, with expert skill, excellent communication with patients in person and via MYCHART, and great patience. He listened extremely carefully to my history and symptoms, made the correct diagnosis that eluded other neurosurgeons, performed a remarkably skilled spinal fusion surgery, and Is very attentive and responsive during postoperative care, as Is his team. I have only superlatives for Dr. Witham.

He was very though in explaining what the cause of my problem is and my options.
