Tara K Mangum, DO

Dr. Mangum is a pediatric neurologist and neurointensivist who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients and director of the stroke program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. Her clinical expertise includes the care of stroke patients. She joined the hospital staff in 2026.

She was previously a child neurologist and neurointensivist at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. 

She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a pediatric residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania, followed by a residency in child neurology at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric neurocritical care at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
