Tamara Van De Star, MD

Dr. Van De Star specializes in caring for hospitalized children for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the medical staff in 2020 and sees patients at Sarasota Memorial Hospital where Johns Hopkins All Children’s provides many pediatric services.

Dr. Van De Star earned her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, graduating first in her class. She completed her residency in general pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Van De Star has been elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

She is fluent in Dutch.
