Nurse Practitioner Lee was very thorough m. She taught me how to examine myself for her to make a diagnosis. Never did that before so I will use it in the future. She was very thorough and understood my illness unlike the in-person visit the day before. That day was totally a waster of time with no compassion. Lee. Made me feel great and I would recommend her to anyone.

Her questions were thorough, attempting to identify the root cause of my ailment, rather than just provide a remedy for the symptoms. She requested that I take a Covid test for 3 consecutive days, having had patients with my non-traditional symptoms. She provided dietary advice to address the symptoms. And she was available to respond to my subsequent questions and comments through MyChart without scheduling an additional appointment.

Ta-Ya's care has been essential during my cancer treatment, she has really provided me with so many tools to ease the discomfort and suffering that can be involved during chemo, surgery, and radiation. I have recommended her to other cancer patients and the work she does is needed - she cares for the whole body and being during some of the hardest experiences. Thank you Dr. Lee!

I contacted the nurse practitioner through MyChart to let her know I wasn't reacting well to the antibiotic and needed a different one. Unbeknownst to me, Verizon had automatically flagged the nurse practitioner's phone number as spam, which blocked her calls. I only discovered this after Lee accused me of deliberately declining her calls. When I reached out to the urgent care line, the receptionist kindly suggested I check my spam filter, which immediately resolved the issue. Lee's wording was unfortunate-rather than implying I intentionally ignored her calls, a more accurate and constructive choice of words would have been appropriate.

Nurse Lee was superb! She was exceptionally thorough, for a practitioner who never saw me. She reviewed all my symptoms and current Rx medications and explained in GREAT detail how to use the meds that she prescribed. I'd recommend this lovely lady (and for that matter, ALL practitioners at the JH Dundalk location).

This was the first time I met Ta-Ya Lee, I was ill and needed medical attention, but no in-person slots were available. A tele-visit was the best option at the time. Ta-Ya Lee appeared to be very knowledgeable and was able to prescribe medication that has helped me overcome what may be bronchitis or a sinus infection. Either way, the coughing and gagging on flehm has diminished and I am feeling much better.

She was very knowledgeable, but seemed a bit rushed, reminding me that she had two other patients ahead of me, and that she was running late. Personally, this was not relevant to me, if I had questions, I expected them to be answered, not to be told that I was out of time.
