I have a history of trauma that makes feeling safe in medical care that can involve loss of agency (like childbirth) challenging. I had not met Dr srisutiva before but was really impressed by how she listened to me, asked the right questions, and went through a plan for delivery [staff] had put together for my first child at the very first appointment. That made me feel seen, respected, and safe. I wasn't going to bring it up for months but she zeroed in on that from my chart and asked focused questions. I was grateful and impressed.

I was quite impressed with Dr. Srisutiva. She is not my usual OB/GYN, but she listened very careful to symptoms I described and gave me options that I didn't know I had for a chronic condition. She didn't rush the appointment at all. She gave me hope that I didn't need to go immediately for surgery and was immediately in contact with test results. I have already recommended her to a friend for instances when our usual OB/GYN is not available.
