Dr. Sinead Nyhan is an Assistant Professor in the Department Of Anesthesiology And Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is a Baltimore native and completed her undergraduate studies at Colby College in Maine before earning her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She completed her anesthesiology residency at Johns Hopkins in 2017 and stayed on to complete fellowships in Critical Care and Cardiothoracic Anesthesia.
Dr. Nyhan is the co-director of the Perioperative Medicine High-Risk Cardiovascular Disease Program. Her research focuses on the perioperative optimization and care of patients with high-risk cardiopulmonary disease.
