Shriddha Nayak, MD

Shriddha Nayak is a physician in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Johns Hopkins Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed residency training in gynecology and obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She also completed fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine at Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Nayak’s clinical and research interests include high-risk pregnancy, severe maternal morbidity, medical complications of pregnancy and maternal cardiovascular health. Her scholarly work has focused on maternal outcomes in medically complex pregnancies, including cancer, transplant medicine and connective tissue disorders in pregnancy. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics.

Dr. Nayak is actively involved in medical education, simulation training and quality improvement initiatives. She has held leadership roles in labor and delivery safety programs and previously served as medical director of the Johns Hopkins Green Spring Station Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic.
