Background
Dr. Devanesan has practiced in the St. Petersburg area for 10 years and has been active in graduate medical education training at local hospitals. A graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine and its residency program in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Devanesan received the Overall Outstanding Teaching Resident Award for 2000. She joined OB/GYN Associates (now Johns Hopkins All Children's Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists) in 2001.
Dr. Devanesan is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also is an active member of the American Medical Association and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. Her areas of special interest include minimally invasive surgery (including DaVinci robotic procedures), urogynecology and adolescent gynecology.
