Dr Chawla is excellent. He listened very carefully to me. I value his expertise and he came up with a definitive plan. His clinical judgement is spot on. I am so thankful for his care.

(I'm answering for my husband who has Alzheimer's) We switched to this provider just recently when [staff] retired. We like him very much. He is very caring and explains everything and leaves enough time for our questions. He was already well versed in my husband's heart issues.

I am satisfied that this provider is very concerned about the health of the patients. I have learned a lot about my health issues from him and wish every doctor I see would be as informative and conscientious.

I was seen on 06/15/2026, by [staff]'s colleagues, Dr. Shawn Chawla, about my concerns at the visit. He introduced himself and extended his hand to me, upon entering the exam room. Dr. Chawla, overall discussed with me about my labs results, medical recommendations, and follow up with the office.

Very personable. Was able to find some of my test results from 2019, done in a different state. This is impressive. Mapped out a very good plan fir evaluation.

Intelligent, kind. He thought about the bigger picture. He changed one medication for a more effective one. He recommended a test that will give him a clear understanding of my heart function-important for this stage of life.

This was my first visit. Dr. Chawla was personable, thorough, attentive and understandable. I was impressed how he really took the time to evaluate test results from other doctors to suggest next steps for me. Unlike the other practice, he did not order unnecessary tests.

Dr. Shawn is an excellent doctor. He did his due diligence before he saw me. He asked relevant questions. I told him that I was thinking of postponing my stress test but he encouraged me to keep the appointment. That way we will know where we stand regarding my health. He was up beat and gave me confidence. He is an assuring person.

My JH cardiologist scheduled me for a treadmill stress test. I was very impressed with the doctor and nurses - they were supportive and provided excellent service.

I liked Dr. Chawla and he ordered a follow up stress test and blood work but wanted to wait for the latter for two months to see if my newly prescribed statin and ezitimibe had a chance to kick in. I appreciated that he took a more cautious approach and wait and see and not jump in with an intervenist approach.
