With my visit with Shannon, I was able to get answers. I went to another provider's office and I felt like I was brushed off at that visit.

Shannon and I believe it was [staff] who I saw first treat me like a visiting family member. They both were not only totally informed of my condition but had the info on other medical updates on me. They ask the best questions and don't just take nortes but expand on the topic. When appropriate they counsel me on other medical issues. I come away with confidence that my NF is being monitored AND I'm being seen from head to toe. I'd say great recruiting in Johns Hopkins part but I think Shannon came totally wired to perfection

I came for a diagnostic and better understanding of NF1. Shannon Langmead is not my primary care physician. She helped me understand better NF1 and how I can manage it better. She also helped me with getting oriented into a study program for NF1.
