Semerjit Bains, MD

Dr. Bains is a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He joined the medical staff in 2024.

He earned his medical degree from Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami. He completed an internship in medicine and surgery at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he served as a chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Boston Children’s Hospital, followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiovascular anesthesiology at Texas Children’s Hospital, serving as chief fellow in both Boston and Houston.
