Very impressive and informative. I came to Hopkins from UVA thinking I did not want a Watchman. His patient explanation about my high risk of another stroke persuaded me I could get more protection if I had one.

Dr. Ronald Berger, explained in detail the issues surrounding my reoccurance of afib and the options open to me. He is the same doctor who performed my surgery 17 years ago and was fantastic then and still is. I can't put in words how pleased I am that he is providing me help again.

Dr. Ronald Berger is professional, courteous and kind. He is an expert in this field. He explained the details of the procedure and gave us time to ask questions. We trust him. We met him 10 years ago about the procedure and he wisely suggested then to my husband to be observed and my husband did very well. This time Is different and we will follow his instructions as we trust him. Thank you Dr. Berger.

We haven't gotten the test results yet as it's a 2 week test which will take longer for results. Dr Berger is the best cardiologist I've ever met. He referred me to a local provider as he is an electrical heart specialist

Dr. Berger (and the fellow who came in before) is an exceptional physician, from the analysis and explanation used for the issue and his respect for my father.

Dr Berger introduced me to PFA, a novel a Marion procedure for atrial fibrillation. I am very hopeful about it.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/28/2025
Dr. Berger spent considerable time on explanations that were helpful to me. I requested to remain under his care. Even though his findings and recommendations were essentially the same as I have received from two cardiologists and one electrophysiologist in Rockville, I have greater confidence in Dr. Berger. I told him it is a privilege to be seen by him.

Dr. Berger is excellent in every way that I could expect. My PFA ablation was explained to me in multiple ways for clarity and assurance of what it would hopefully accomplish and how it would be done. Dr. Berger's knowledge shines through in every conversation I have with him pre-op and post-op. I feel fortunate to have been under his care. He is an excellent reflection on Johns Hopkins Hospital and his own high standard of medical practice.
