For many years, I participated in a small volume prostate cancer study. I have been seeing this provider (Rita Abu-Jaber) as a follow up to the study. I used to see her twice a year but for the last few years only once. She is always pleasant, listens to my questions, and provides useful information. I have never had a bad experiece with her. She is very professional.

Rita had only one answer to my elevated PSA -- biopsy.

In general I find my actual provider for this visit - Rita Abu-Jabar - very knowledgeable and caring. She has done a lot on my prior visits to allay and calm any anxiety I have about the unfortunate process I may have to go through. On this visit I was querying her on the 'usual statistics' and questions about what I perceive to be 'repair options' vs. Causality/avoidance for the condition. For some reason on this visit her attitude seemed a little 'short'; maybe she was having a bad day.

She seemed like she was in a hurry.

She listens carefully to what I have to say. She set me up with an appointment with one of of her medical professionals

Brusque; delivered her gameplan to me as instructions not be questioned; not interested if or why I had a different perspective. In the past has disputed when I provided contrary Information to what she believed had occurred.

Rita seems to be an excellent professional attending to my prostate ""active vigilance"" program. I have utmost confidence in her. I am very pleased to have her as my principal physicians' assistant attending to me.
