Dr. Priya Sekar is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise are fetal and pediatric cardiology, echocardiography and noninvasive imaging
After receiving her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, Dr. Sekar earned a master’s degree in public health from George Washington University. She received her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School. She completed her general pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Oakland and performed her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She was a fetal/perinatal cardiology and clinical research fellow at the University of Alberta/Stollery Children's Hospital.
