This was the first time I visited a urologist. My Physician (Patrick) and assistant ([staff]) made my visit memorable. They both were kind, encouraging and provided excellent care. I rate their service excellent!!

He always listens and is willing to consider alternate solutions. He goes beyond his area of expertise to advise in other areas when appropriate. For example, I was unaware that my family history of prostate cancer in male relatives puts me a great risk for breast cancer. And before I had spinal surgery that I was suddenly told I needed, he referred me to an excellent colleague for a second opinion.

The provider listened carefully and ordered appropriate tests. He also said he would coordinate a future urological procedure with another provider to make the procedure less painful and reduce the need to be under anesthesia twice.

I have been in the care of Dr. Mufarrij for 3+ years and cannot say enough about how well I have been taken care of. My previous urologist could no longer treat me due to the numerous kidney stones I had and told me they would need to be surgically removed. Dr. Mufarrij thought otherwise and removed them, non-surgically, through several procedures and has been following me since that time.

This was probably the best Doctor I've ever gone to. I was a new patient, but he had already gone through my last 10 years plus of medical issues, and showed me issues that were missed years ago by other physicians. He explained everything in normal to understand terminology. He was fantastic. You can't say that about many physicians today.

The last time I saw Dr. Mufarrij, I had just arrived in the Emergency Room with severe back pain and had been throwing up (kidney stones). He had a very calm demeanor, and his actions and words were very reassuring. This time during my visit, he helped me understand why he was prescribing the medication he was ordering and how to take it. He's very low-key, which is really helpful since I can be quite anxious in medical settings. He has a sense of humor and sincerity that I can appreciate.
