Paola Isabella Pena, MD

Dr. Paola Pena is an obesity medicine fellow physician who was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where she earned her medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). She went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Roger Williams Medical Center/Boston University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Dr. Pena is passionate about obesity medicine, lifestyle interventions, and preventive health, with a focus on helping patients navigate their health journeys with compassion, respect, and evidence-based care. She believes obesity should be recognized and treated as the chronic disease it is and is dedicated to empowering patients through education and personalized, sustainable approaches to weight management and chronic disease prevention.
