Dr. Patel was excellent and clear. I left with better understanding of my hip condition than I have had since my initial incident in 2024 that led to my hospitalization at Shady Grove Hospital . I left feeling much more clear about next steps related to my hip.

Dr. Patel was very detailed in the diagnosis and the changes that have occurred in my left hip, as well as other diagnoses that will need to be addressed prior to any major surgery. The sciatica nerves are throughly inflamed and run through my lower back, thigh and down through the lower extremities to the big toe.

Communication for this procedure was excellent; as well as knowlege of previous procedures.

I went to my appointment with a bit of fear and trepidation about whom I would meet because in reality you cannot be certain how the interaction with a physician will transpire until, the event occurs in real time. To say that Dr. Patel, exceed my every expectation, would be a mere understatement. I think the man is a medical talent in direct intellectual line with Hippocrates and perhaps the best moments of [staff]. I feel truly fortunate to be under his care.

Dr Patel was friendly and efficient In making diagnosis based on exam and X-rays. He discussed likely eventual outcome (knee replacement surgery) but, more importantly, discussed non-surgical approaches to try first.

Dr Patel is a careful listener and He provides thorough answers about options and next steps. I don't feel pressured into surgery - and at the same time - because of my knee arthritis - I feel he is honest about eventually needing a replacement. At the same time - he reassures me that I'm not over reacting without me ""fishing"" for that reassurance. As a woman and a grin and bear it type person - that's really important.

NIRAV KIRIT PATEL conducted right knee surgical reconstruction. Dr. PATEL provided an extensive set of at home PT exercises to strengthen the knee for the upcoming surgery and facilitate faster recover. If the PT is followed as Instructed, my knee was Improved prior to surgery. I was Impressed with the detailed attention provided In preparation for surgery. The exercises were far superior to the pre-op exercises is was provided several years ago for my left knee replacement surgery.
