Nakul S. Talathi, M.D., is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the care of children and adolescents the full spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. He offers both surgical and nonsurgical management for wide range of pediatric orthopaedic injuries and disorders, with particular expertise in hip conditions, scoliosis, and fracture care. His clinical interests include developmental dysplasia of the hip, pediatric and adolescent hip disorders, and hip preservation, as well as the care of children and adolescents with spinal deformities such as scoliosis and kyphosis. Dr. Talathi is committed to delivering patient-centered, family-focused care tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Dr. Talathi earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. He then pursued fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.
Dr. Talathi has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, authored textbook chapters, and has presented at national and international meetings. His scholarly work spans topics such as fracture management, developmental dysplasia of the hip, adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, and surgical education
Outside of medicine, Dr. Talathi is an avid University of Georgia sports fan, and enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling with his wife.

Dr. Talathi is an excellent physician who is caring, compassionate, and superb overall. He came into the room prepared and clearly knows my daughter's medical history and imaging results well. His communication style is clear and thoughtful. He patiently answered all of our questions and followed up with us even after our visit. Overall, we are very happy with his care.
