She didn't listen well. I tried to explain my HRT overall and she started to talk before I could finish. When I tried to summarize what she ultimately explained, she broke in again.

Dr Chernofsky may want to allow more opportunities for questions in the consultation structure; I was able to ask my Qs, it might be more effective though to give the patient a chance to do so during the consultation rather build it in at the end (that's how I understood her approach based on a single consultation); I was very pleased with my consultation and the guidance I received

Dr. Chernofsky provided an excellent summary of my condition and steps needed to move forward with a complete diagnosis. She is the ultimate expert on my condition. Although surgery seemed a bit daunting, I knew I was in good hands, both literally and figuratively. After the surgery, she tried to reach my husband. Along with leaving him a detailed summary of the surgical results, she also left a helpful summary for me on outpatient papers. Very thoughtful and reassuring.

In candor, I have been frustrated with Dr. Chernofsky in the past due to her often gruff and not especially ""caring"" mode.

Dr. Chernofsky was very thorough about sharing relevant information for me to make decisions in a way that was accessible. She had strong recommendations for the next steps -- which I understand, and do not disagree with -- but these conversations can be difficult and anxiety provoking for patients, so a little more ""space"" for my concerns and questions would have been helpful. She spent a lot of time with me, and I appreciate that, but she spoke the vast majority of that time.
