Background
Michelle Kush, M.D., is an obstetrics and gynecology physician specializing in maternal fetal medicine. She has expertise in all aspects of the field, including fetal growth restriction, fetal anomalies and complex maternal conditions during pregnancy.
Dr. Kush obtained her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) in Baltimore.
Dr. Kush remained with the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UMMC for another 10 years, serving as the medical director of perinatal outreach, department director of maternal transports and a member of the hospital ethics committee. More recently, Dr. Kush has been a member of a local, private maternal fetal medicine group. She also continues to participate in the University of Maryland’s master’s in genetic counseling program as an instructor and a member of its executive committee.
