Michelle Eventov, M.D., is a sports medicine rehabilitation physician who specializes in treating active adults and athletes of all levels. Her goal is to help people stay active and be able to participate in sports and recreational activities throughout their lifetimes. Dr. Eventov also specializes in conditions that affect female athletes. She has expertise in using ultrasound to diagnose and treat sports-related injuries. She is trained in acupuncture, which she uses to treat acute and chronic injuries in athletes.
After she obtained her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Eventov completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she was a chief resident. She then completed a clinical fellowship in sports medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Eventov’s research focuses on new strategies for medical education and advancing treatments for musculoskeletal injuries. She is passionate about medical trainee engagement, with a focus on well-being, and has developed several wellness programs for medical students and residents.

My provider was very empathetic to the pain I experienced during my PRP injection. She massaged my calf to help with the cramping I experienced immediately post procedure and stayed with me until I felt like my like the pain was tolerable.

Dr. Eventov was lovely. She had my previous information, gave me a steroid shot using the ultrasound and explained what she was doing, used X-rays to diagnose my Bakers cyst and explained how it burst and caused the intense pain.
