Dr. Blaha was exceptional. He was personable, highly knowledgeable, and immediately understood the nuances of my medical history and concerns. I felt genuinely heard and intellectually engaged, which was a stark contrast to prior cardiology experiences. His depth of expertise, ability to contextualize limited data, and clarity of explanation significantly increased my confidence in my care and long-term outcomes.

This was my first visit. Dr.Blaha and his resident, [staff], reviewed my history and recent tests. [staff] met with me first. They explained what they saw and what they thought, as well as what they thought were the next steps, tests, and medications. When I suggested an additional order, they agreed. When I expressed an opinion about a new medication, which was a maybe/yes decision for them, they followed my suggestion.

Rather than seeing the physician, I was seen primarily with a resident MD who looked at all of my medical records, examined me then told me she was going to let the physician know her findings. After which the physician came in to speak with me and made his recommendations. I really wait 6 months for this appointment to see a resident. I do so to see the actual physician I made the appointment to see.
