He is very patient and easy to talk to. He explained that there is not a definitive answer as to what caused the problem, there are several possibilities. Time may or may not give more clues. But the important point is that there are ways to deal with it!

I am so thankful for this visit and finding Dr Carper and [staff]. They showed compassion and care and through their exam gave me confidence that they understood the totality of my multiple vision issues. . I am so grateful they were agreeable to see me quickly when my long term dr was stuck overseas. Amazing care!

Not sure why the eye test was done with the tinted glasses when I had 4 glasses with me without tint. That was ignored and not explained why the tinted glasses were used for the eye test. Not driving is the problem.

Dr Carper is fantastic - very informed, very able to meet me at the level of discussion I was able to have and help bridge the gap in terminology and metaphor and provide trust in the care provided that other providers did not. When he disagreed with other providers he provided a careful basis, giving me as the patient the ability to judge the conflicting information and make decisions on what to accept.

Dr. Carper was always patient with MD and listened to my concerns. I went through a hospital stay in ICU and went through a dramatic medical incident. Following that, I went to a lot of different specialists. Most were good. When I finally found Dr. Carper I was relieved. He was patient while I explained my history and my concerns. There wasn't much that Dr. Carper could medically do for me but that is about what happened to me and not his ability. He helped me feel better emotionally by simply letting me feel heard.
