Background
Dr. Melissa Caughey is an Assistant Professor in the Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science. She has a clinical background in ultrasound (RVT, RDCS) and an academic background in biostatistics and epidemiology (PhD). Her research interests center around image analysis, imaging technology development, and the utilization of imaging services. She has received grant funding from the National Institutes of Health, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Renal Research Institute. Dr. Caughey is an associate (statistical) editor for the journal Circulation: Heart Failure, and has served on numerous grant review panels for the American Heart Association and the NIH. She has published over 85 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
