Dr. Kept me waiting for 48 minutes after appointment time, with no explanation. Then sent a Resident, who had no knowledge of the reason for my visit, to question me. I had previously had medical records sent to Dr two weeks in advance of appointment.After my explanations the Resident left the room Several minutes later doctor 'breezed in', introduced himself, made alame joke about being a Volvo mechanic, and mentioned sending me to his Fellow for a cystoscopy.

Dr. Kates was very responsive and very professional. Explained everything in a manner that I could understand. And answered all of my questions.

The doctor was an excellent provider, but he informed me that Scheduling had not matched me with the correct physician for the therapy I was seeking (HIFU therapy). He quickly responded by offered to put me in touch with the appropriate physician.

This was an Initial consultation for my condition. Dr. Kates explained in simple terms my status and medical options to pursue. I was very impressed after the first meeting that I was comfortable in selecting him to perform my procedure.

I was told that I would not be contacted with the tests results unless there were Issues revealed that required immediate attention. Besides, the full results were quickly made available on MyChart.
