Background

After completing her general surgery training and a clinical breast research fellowship at George Washington University Hospital, Dr. Jaberi began her career at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health System. There, she collaborated with colleagues to enhance the care of patients with breast cancer and became the first surgeon in her practice to perform image-guided breast biopsies in a private office setting.

After six years, Dr. Jaberi transitioned to Ascension St. Agnes, where she was employed by Maryland Surgeons. She continued to focus on the comprehensive management of breast disease, treating both malignant and benign conditions. In addition to her breast surgery practice, she maintained an active general surgery role, including call coverage, elective procedures, and inpatient responsibilities, for nine years.

In 2022, Dr. Jaberi dedicated her practice exclusively to breast surgery upon joining the Breast Surgeons of Ascension St. Agnes.

Currently, Dr. Jaberi practices at the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center Breast Center, where she evaluates patients in the Breast Clinic and assists with tumor localization for lumpectomy procedures.

Throughout her career, Dr. Jaberi has remained committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered, and comprehensive care. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams including medical oncology, radiation oncology, plastic surgery, radiology, pathology, and nurse navigators through regular case conferences to optimize patient outcomes.

Dr. Jaberi is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Jaberi is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care and looks forward to supporting her patients throughout their treatment journey.
