Dr. Mary Wilkinson is a medical oncologist caring for patients with breast cancer and gyn malignancies. Dr. Wilkinson sees patients primarily at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC. She also serves as clinical director of the Under Armour Breast Health Innovation Center at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dr. Wilkinson received her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Rice University and earned her M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine. She completed her residency and performed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Wilkinson joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2019.
Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Dr. Wilkinson was director of breast cancer research at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute and president of Medical Oncology Hematology Associates of Northern Virginia. She also spent time on the faculty at Georgetown University and the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Wilkinson is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

I love Dr. Wilkinson, her team and everyone in the oncology center at Sibley. They have made my cancer experience a great one, despite of the challenges that such an illness carries. Dr. Mary Wilkinson is by far the best Oncologist at Hopkins and the world! During the scariest and slickest time of my life, she was a source of excellent medical treatment, knowledge in the field, calmness, and reassurance. She provided the best possible medical advice and presented it all with a wonderful bedside manner. I am thankful for her service at JHH and to me over the past 6 years. No one wants breast cancer. But if you have to go through it, Dr. Mary Wilkinson is the oncologist you want!!!
