This was to be my annual visit. Bloodwork could not be done because systems were down. Usually a very favorable visit, this felt very off. Listened to my heart and lungs and that was it. It did not feel thorough at all but rather computer driven. Very disappointed.

I'd never seen Dr. Callsen before. I needed to get a pre-op physical done promptly & she was available. She was good: attentive & thorough. She seemed to pay more attention to me than anyone else I've ever seen in this practice. Maybe that's because I have a cancer diagnosis or something. She didn't seem to get distracted by telling me to lose 10 pounds or dismiss me with ""it's a virus, ride it out.""

Negatives: The appointment had to be scheduled 7 months in advance, While prep work (weight, blood pressure, etc.) was actually started early, Dr. Callsen arrived 20 minutes after the scheduled time. Positives - she and I go way back, we communicate well, she knows my history.

Dr Callsen provides excellent care. I feel very lucky that she is my doctor.

Dr. Callsen, is inquisitive, gets the complete picture first, always checks the background information, has follow-up questions. Also, Dr. Callsen asks me about not just my health but how I think my health is progressing and if I have any ideas on how to make it better.
