Background
Pediatric otolaryngologist Mary Catherine Brown provides care for infants, children and young adults with a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions. In addition to her comprehensive pediatric otolaryngology practice, she has a special interest in the evaluation and management of complex airway and aerodigestive disorders, including swallowing dysfunction, chronic cough, tracheostomy management and other conditions requiring coordinated multidisciplinary care. She has expertise in the management of congenital and acquired pediatric airway disorders, including subglottic stenosis, laryngomalacia, tracheomalacia and vocal fold dysfunction. Her practice incorporates advanced diagnostic and surgical approaches and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized, evidence-based care for children with complex airway and aerodigestive conditions.
After earning her medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Brown completed residency training at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences College of Medicine. She also completed a two-year pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Brown’s research interests include airway disorders, swallowing function and quality improvement.
