I am a critical care specialist, anesthesiologist, emergency medicine physician, addictionologist, and bioethicist. I am also a practicing attorney specializing in criminal appellate law. My academic niche is medical education with a focus on the utilization high fidelity simulation to cultivate diagnostic proficiency through pattern recognition, to hone procedural skills needed to safely care for acutely ill patients, and most importantly, to function as a valuable member of a multidisciplinary team. I have extensive experience with OSCE development, performance-based assessment, and simulation.
