Dr. Mark E. Richards is a plastic surgeon affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital. He practices out of Ageless Impressions Plastic Surgery Institute in North Bethesda, Maryland, of which he is the founder.

Dr. Richards has expertise in facelift and cheek lift surgery, breast enhancement and augmentation, tummy tuck, rhinoplasty, body sculpting and plastic surgery for men. He has worked to establish a safer, more effective liposuction technique and an arm lift method that results in less scarring.

Dr. Richards earned his medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at St. Barnabas Hospital, followed by a fellowship in plastic surgery at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Richards previously served as president of the National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Montgomery County Medical Society.

Dr. Richards has been named one of America’s Top Surgeons by Consumer’s Research Council and a Top Doctor by U.S. News and World Report, Washingtonian Magazine and Baltimore Magazine.

Dr. Richards has presented at numerous international conferences on cosmetic surgery and contributed to numerous publications, such as the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
