Maher Abadeer, MD

Dr. Abadeer is a pediatric cardiologist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He sees patients at the hospital’s main campus in St. Petersburg, Florida, and joined the hospital team in 2023. 

He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed a residency in pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at University of Rochester Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in advanced imaging in pediatric cardiology (CT/MRI/TEE) at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. 

His clinical interests include multimodal imaging for the diagnosis and management of congenital heart disease in children and adults.

He is fluent in Arabic.
