Dr. Louis E. Levitt is an assistant clinical professor of orthopaedics at George Washington University and an independent Medical Examiner. He practices out of Orthopaedic Medicine and Surgery in Washington, D.C. Dr. Levitt is affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, National Rehabilitation Hospital, George Washington University Hospital and Georgetown University Hospital.

Dr. Levitt has an expertise in orthopedic surgery, orthopaedic trauma and joint replacement.

Dr. Levitt earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Dr. Levitt is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Medical Society of D.C. and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He has been named a Top Doctor by Washingtonian Magazine and Consumers’ Checkbook Magazine.
