Research Summary

Dr. Rosenthal is the director of the Parkinson’s Disease Research Center’s clinical research, specifically the longitudinal and brain donation studies, which seek to improve our understanding of disease progression and the psychiatric and cognitive aspects of Parkinson's disease.

As the co-investigator of an NIH-funded study to identify biomarkers for Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's disease-related cognitive impairment, Dr. Rosenthal supervises all day-to-day operations of clinical research, including patient recruitment and enrollment and clinical assessments of study participants.

    She explained in detqail the drug she was ordering including the whys and wherefors. Sje explained that her office would locate a formulatine pharmacy in my area and the drug would probably be available in January. She said that she was ordering physical therapy for balance and speech therapy for swallowing issues; however, I do not know how this is to be transmitted.
