Lee E Firestone, DPM

Dr. Lee E. Firestone is a podiatrist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital. Dr. Firestone practices out of Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic, located in Washington, D.C. and Chevy Chase, Md. 

Dr. Firestone earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a residency in podiatric surgery at Washington Hospital Center, where he served as the chief resident. 

Dr. Firestone is a fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Firestone is an avid runner himself, competing in many local and regional races, including the Boston Marathon. He is a certified running coach and a member of the Montgomery County Road Runners Club, where he is also an assistant coach for the experienced marathon training program. Dr. Firestone has been named one of Washington’s Top Sports Medicine Providers and one of Washington’s Top Podiatrists by Washingtonian Magazine. Run Washington Magazine has also recognized Dr. Firestone as a Best Doctor.
