Great Doctor

Provider was excellent getting all my previous informations( I recently moved from another state and this was my first visit to a family physician in VA) what I expected was a physical exam, the least to listen to my heart and lung. There was no physical exam at all.I may be wrong and going to a family physician for the first visit only requires stablishing a file? Later I remembered that I was due for a mammogram and asked the PA to ask the provider for a request which was promptly done

He is an excellent Physician with excellent credentials and very good badside manner. I would like to have him as my primary Physician.He comes prepared having gone over my chart before he sees me, examined me personally, and gave me excellent advice on any medical issues that either he was concerned with or I raised with him. The only issue I have faced is long lead time in getting appointmens, most time as much as several months. It worries me that I may not be able to see him when I need him on a short notice.
