Dr. Kristin Martin is a staff physician of general Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins Medicine. Her interests in women’s health started with her undergrad career at University of Maryland, College Park where she studied Biochemistry. She began her medical training at Howard University, College of Medicine in Washington DC. She completed her residency training with the gynecology and obstetrics department at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pennsylvania.
Her research includes the study of neuro oncology, the relationship between race/ethnicity and peripartum hysterectomy complications, and complications associated with postmenopausal women. Dr. Martin is a member of a few impactful committees such as ACGME Clinical Competency Committee, Obstetrics and Gynecology, EPIC Resolute- Optimus Implementation, Gynecology OR Steering Committee and the Resident Research Committee just to name a few.

Dr Martin was very patient with my million questions and explained the procedure to me. Her demeanor is calming and straightforward. I think she recognized I was anxious and her quiet, calm manner was exactly what i needed.

Dr. Martin is amazing. I was nervous about going to see GYN as I haven't seen one regularly but she was patient, knowledgeable, and amazing. Very kind and thorough and listened to my concerns. Made sure I was well informed with everything and I knew what next steps should/ would be. I felt very comfortable with her. She's awesome!!!
