Kathryn E O'Brien, MD

Dr. Kathryn Wilkinson O'Brien is an obstetrician and gynecologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital. She practices out of Capital Women's Care in Washington, D.C.

Dr. O'Brien provides comprehensive obstetric care and has a clinical interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and contraception. 

Dr. O'Brien earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2012, where she received the Dr. Fred Mecklenburg Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology, awarded for outstanding achievement in women's health care, research and community service. Dr. O'Brien completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at George Washington University School of Medicine in 2016. During this time, she also traveled to Guatemala to provide care to women at the Hospitalito Atitlan.
