Karely Correa Calderas, MD, MBA

Dr. Correa Calderas specializes in pediatric emergency medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. She joined the hospital staff in 2026.

Her research focuses on asthma management in the Emergency Department and clinical pathways. 

She earned her medical degree from University of Medicine and Health Science in Saint Kitts and Nevis. She completed her pediatric residency at Puerto Rico Women and Children’s Hospital in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She then worked as an emergency medicine physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia before completing a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Correa Calderas also earned her Master of Business Administration in healthcare management from Davenport University in Michigan.
