Good provider. My only concern is a significant delay (weeks) in provider's response to my portal communication. After a second message, I finally received a brief reply recommending setting up an appointment. This was in significant contrast to another patient of this provider whom I know well who received a portal response the day after their initial portal inquiry. I am puzzled by this difference in response times.

In the past when I was attended to by other urologists, they always examined the prostate. This has never been done by this provider. I'm sure he must have a reason but I was never informed of reasons for not doing a physical exam!

Appointment delayed. That's all right with me but there was no communication about it. Appointment 11am and visit began at 1pm. Doc apologized, but someone should have given me a heads up.

He continues to provide attentive post-surgery care, ensuring the recovery remains on track. As part of the follow-up treatment plan, Dr. Benabdallah referred me for proton therapy to support long-term healing and prevention.

He cares, his team always seems to be on top of things making sure that they cover all bases.

Best and professional

Due to other pelvic floor issues other than Urology, I expected Immediate referral for such medical specialist. Perhaps John Hopkis don't have such care provider? I guess I have to ask my primary care provider and see what will be the chioce. So far Urology consultation and additional MRI & PSA test orders and prescriptions for immediate use are good. There was no physical examination of the prostate. But I am not sure if it was required during the first consultation tasks. The follow up consulation after the tests, may be more helpful for evaluations and treatments.

Grateful for everything

Dr. Bendabdallah spent a lot of time discussing my changing scores on the PSA test revered multiple courses of action and the risks associated with each we agreed on a somewhat conservative testing regime for the next six months. I thought he provided excellent advice and demonstrated excellent judgement, and showed me my scores and interpreted them in a way that I did not understand prior to the visit Couldn't be more pleased
