Julie Rice, MD

Dr. Rice is a clinical instructor and simulation educator for the Johns Hopkins Department of Emergency Medicine.

She completed residency in emergency medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and during her final year, she was a participant in the Focused Advanced Specialized Training track in medical education, with a focus on simulation-based education. She joined the Johns Hopkins Department of Emergency Medicine faculty with the goal of expanding the simulation-based educational experience for its residents. Her research focuses include deliberate practice, simulation-based education in low-middle-income countries and resident wellness.
