I have been dealing with serious medical issues for several years and have received no help from providers in my state (WV). I was referred to Dr Judy Huang as a final consult by my current neurologist and she was able to figure out in one appointment a diagnosis for me. She is very well educated, listens to her patients, is compassionate and not dismissive. I felt understood and comfortable speaking with her and her PA and despite the difficult I had travelling to the facility from out of state I am so thankful for the experience.

We waited 30 minutes in the exam room before we were seen. Seen by PA who did the entire exam. Very short meeting with actual doctor. It's important to gain confidence and build a bit of a repore with the surgeon before such a monument decision like brain surgery.

I was very impressed with Dr. Huang - her expertise, her communication skills, her bedside manner and her charming personality. I wasn't certain what to expect going to an academic practice, whether there would be long wait times, whether my physician would be cold, impersonal and dismissive. I was pleasantly surprised at how positive the entire experience was. Dr. Huang was very generous with her time and made me feel that my case was as important as her other cases. She is a credit to Johns Hopkins.
