TREASURE BEYOND MEASURE Dr. Anaya's initial exam confirmed a bleed deep in my right eye and thankfully revealed the likely cause of this active bleed. In the followup exam Dr. Anaya examined my retina - to confirm its health. Dr. Anaya also thoroughly reviewed my health records - evidenced by his detailed comments I recommend Dr. Anaya enthusiastically without reservation. I traveled to and from NY for his expert care and will do so goni g forward.

It was my first time meeting Dr.Anaya. He was running late. I'm sure because of this he didn't have any time to spend getting to know me. I think it would have helped me to connect with him if he had made that effort. I'm sure he's an excellent doctor and he certainly did his job checking my retinas.

I selected this doctor based on his area of specialty. His expertise is superb. And his doctor patient relationship skills are high.

I am grateful I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Joseph Anaya ASAP - 3 days following my call. It was important due the very concerning report of a hemorrhage in my right eye. He paid close attention to me during his examination and asked unexpected but highly relevant questions about that provided more information about what may have caused the blood in my eye.

Dr. Anaya exhibited clinical expertise and spoke clearly explaining my operative procedure and purpose while welcoming questions from me and my daughter who participated by phone.

The provider was excellent but was not a ophthalmologist neurologist which two previous ophthalmologists I visited recommended I see.

Realized I was in troubled and took immediate steps to remedy the situation, probably saving my sight in doing so.

Dr.Anaya is a very knowledgeable doctor. Perhaps not as communicaticr as many would like but is very knowledgeable and often explains things well.

I had an appt with the optometrist and Dr Anaya, I was at your office for 3 1/2 hours!!

Excellent surgery , although this was a follow up visit to monitor results

I had an issue post cataract surgery and Dr. Anaya had a cancelation and able to fit me in as my surgeon was on vacation and there were no openings in Columbia. He saw me on time and provided me with assurance that the medications would help until such time as I could meet with my surgeon.

First visit with Dr Anaya so it was a bit strained. His exam was very direct - I appreciate getting in and out in a timely manner. He could have shown more interest in me as an individual (personal history).
