John T Queenan Jr., MD

John Queenan Jr. is a clinical associate in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Johns Hopkins. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He subsequently completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Queenan is a nationally recognized reproductive endocrinologist with clinical interests that include infertility, assisted reproductive technologies, in vitro fertilization, recurrent pregnancy loss, reproductive genetics and fertility preservation. His scholarly work has focused on reproductive endocrinology, embryo implantation, ovarian reserve, reproductive surgery, and the ethical and policy considerations surrounding fertility care. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and educational resources in reproductive medicine.

Throughout his career, Queenan has been actively involved in physician education, professional society leadership and healthcare policy. He has held leadership roles in national organizations including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and has received multiple awards recognizing his contributions to medical education and reproductive medicine.
