Jessica Danielle Korman, MD

Dr. Jessica D. Korman is a gastroenterologist affiliated with Suburban Hospital. She practices out of Capital Digestive Care’s Metropolitan Gastroenterology Group in Washington, D.C. and Bethesda, Md. 

Dr. Korman has an expertise in colorectal cancer screening, as well as anal cancer screening and prevention. 

Dr. Korman earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she conducted research with the division of liver diseases. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, where she also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and was recognized by the Leo M. Davidoff Society for Outstanding Achievement in the Teaching of Medical Students. Dr. Korman also earned the Dr. Marcel Zimetbaum Complete Physician Award by the division of gastroenterology at Montefiore Medical Center. 

Dr. Korman is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. 

Dr. Korman has been repeatedly named a Top MD in Washingtonian Magazine.
