Dr. Tanio had a student shadowing her. I was not asked if I minded him being present, only introduced to him. I was a bit surprised to find out he was only 16 years old.

She answers questions in a very direct and helpful way. I left the appointment feeling that she had answered my questions fully, clearly, and helpfully.

I have been seeing Johns Hopkins cardiologist since I moved here 37 years ago. How was the patient of [staff] for many years. When he retired I started seeing Dr. Tanio. All doctors are. Excellent.

She listens carefully to what I say and clarifies the issues. She is very precise in ordering necessary blood work and following up with corrective medication and office visits. She does an excellent job in monitoring my cardiac symptoms.

Dr. Tanio goes above and beyond to help, answer questions via my chart, called us while in the hospital to answer questions. We are very grateful for the care and attention given.
